Glad I'm not the only one
I came on here to see if I was the only one that had a bad experience with this stuff. My dishes came out so dirty after using in my dishwasher that I literally had to re-wash them all by hand. I originally thought my dishwasher was the culprit. Does anyone know of any alternate uses for this product? I would hate to throw it out.

It works in a smaller dishwasher.
I have a counter top dishwasher and I have found that if I fill both areas in the soap container like the bottle says too I don't have any issues with left behind food. It could be thicker yes, but I would rather deal with thin dishwashing liquid and save a bunch of money.

Awful
I was pleased with the Sun diswasher detergent so I thought I would give this gel a try. Big mistake. This stuff just doesn't work. The gel is very thin and ran all over the inside dishwasher door. Even on my dishwasher's "Extra Clean" cycle, the dishes came out dirty and felt greasy. I have relegated this stuff to using for a prewash/rinse cycle only.

Doesn't Work
This stuff is incredibly thin and totally watered down. My dishes were gross; this detergent couldn't even keep food from redepositing on the well-rinsed dishes. Therefore, they came out dirtier than how they went in. I love the Dollar Tree, but this will not find its way into my red basket again.

it works!
We have GE Profile in the kitchen and my mother enjoys using Cascade ActionPacs or Electrasol 3 in 1 Powerball Tabs that we usually purchased from Costco. She was not happy when I asked her to try this Crystal Gel from local dollar tree. She never tried it... for months...until she was running out of those tablets. She was surprised and happy to report me that this gel worked but she still preferred expensive tablets. Now we are alternating between this gel and tablets. Just fill "Jet Dry" to the the machine regularly and works fine as tablets. She did purchase 5 bottles... not a single tablet...I found in the storage room ;)
PS. I noticed some stains left behind when we did not fill "Jet Dry" for a long time. With Jet Dry, everything came out spotless.

Works for me 2!
I purchased this product just because it was cheaper than the high-end name brand detergents. I have been very pleased with the results. I can't tell the difference between Crystal Gel and the more expensive detergents, except the price. Keep up the good work!!!

Crystal Gel Dishwasher Soap
It is way too thin. I ordered a case thinking I would save money. I have had to re-wash my dishes two or three times. And half of the bottles were only half full. What kind of bargain is that?

GREAT !
I recently moved and the water has a high content level of iron. We have hard water and my dishes have NEVER come clean. I have gotten so annoyed using drano,etc.. and still my dishes have a white dust which I assume is soap residue. I don't put dishes in with food stuck on but just to test Crystal I left dried ketchup on a plate. My dishes came CLEAN !! :) I don't usually write reviews but I had to this time. I don't know why others had such a problem. I'm sold. Also I didn't read these reviews until after so I didn't know to use a small amound I used A LOT !

Did not clean at all
First of all, this liquid detergent is THIN like water. After the dishes had been "washed", they were still dirty. I had filled up the soap compartment completely like I usually do when I use Cascade.
I then read other people's reviews here saying that you should only fill the soap compartment half way, so I tried this product again filling only half the compartment. Awful results. As an example, this detergent could not even remove dried black olive juice from a plate. Furthermore, silverware came out greasy.
Better off purchasing more expensive detergent.

A real bargain!
I only filled one of the cups half way, and the load turned out great. I too, like one of the other readers, had recently read that people have been using more detergent then required, so I now use 1/4 - 1/2 of the recommended amount. My dishes came out clean, spotless, and had a nice smell. Will continue to buy

leaves spots and grime
I am a big fan of the dollar tree cleaners, I love the laundry detergent and the powdered dishwasher detergent (sun?) they sell so I was thrilled to see the liquid version of the dishwasher soap as well. I bought several jugs I was so excited but boy was I dissapointed. This is possibly the worst dishwasher detergent I have ever used. I had to go out and buy new detergent because it left tons of residue and grime all over the dishes- like another reviewer said they went in cleaner than they came out. My husband was even complaining and he didn't know I had switched deteregent. I thought it might even be a problem with our dishwasher so I was very relieved that as soon as I switched detergents the dishes came out clean again.
I will try as the other reviewer suggested to use less detergent but I hate to waste the water of a whole load just to have to rewash again because of all the residue. The instructions on the bottle do say to fill both compartments up- (the wash and the pre-wash)- seems like they would test a product out a little better before they put it out on the market

Hey it worked for me
I have only ever used the gel-packs but those were getting too pricey so I decided to try to go for a more frugal option. I followed the directions on the bottle and in my dishwasher user guide and it worked really well.
I did not have any issues with spots or grim, all my dishes were clean and had a pleasant smell. I filled my cup up halfway.
I don't know why this product would work fine for me and not so well for others, I wonder if other people use too much product per load. I've read recently that lots of people use way too much soap and detergent in their machines so that's why I held back and only filled my cup half way. And it worked fantasticly.

It works OK but....
It does the job so I can't complain, but where I live I have soft water and it's fine. But if your water is a little harder? Forget it.
Product is very watery. This one is not so good. Buy the Sunsations powder a much better product!

Terrible Terrible Terrible!
Do NOT even bother trying this product.
It is terrible! Not only does it NOT clean dishes but
it leaves them filthier than they went in. Lots and LOTS
of spots.
Wouldn't purchase it if it was .01 a penny.
Worthless. Trust me!
