Cleans Our Carpet Well
I make my own laundry detergent so I had no use for this in that area. I used it to clean our carpet. I used a Hoover carpet shampoo machine. I filled it with hot water and added a capful of this to the water. I must admit at first after cleaning the carpet I was not impressed. After it was dry I could see how clean it was and even the high traffic areas were fluffy again. I will purchase this product again. (Although I did not use this for our laundry the trick of using laundry detergent to clean your carpet, a friend shared with me, really works.) It left our carpet smelling great without any residue also.

Great Product!
This is a really great detergent that cleans well and smells really great. I was skeptical that it could perform that well given the price. I love it!

Oxydol Remains the Greatest
My grandmother used Oxydol powdered laundry detergent when I was a kid. Spending summers at their farm I got grimy, dusty, dirty on a daily basis. I never gave it any thought at the time, but my clothes came out of the weekly wash perfectly clean, ready for another round. So when I saw it on the shelf a couple years ago, I bought a bottle.
I'd been using a major P&G product for years, and thought it did a good job. But when I ran my first load of wash with Oxydol, I could feel the difference. Previously my denim jeans had a slick feel after washing. Oxydol left the fabric weave detectable to my fingertips, in addition to being clean without the overt perfume of P&G's more expensive product.
I've also used a very small amount of Oxydol in the kitchen sink to clean washable air conditioning filters. It did an excellent job.
Oxydol remains the Greatest laundry detergent ever and I'm sticking with it.

The Only One That Smells Good
Oxydol is the Only One That Smells Good compared to " LA's Totally Awesome Liquid Laundry Detergent " and " Ultra-Concentrated Liquid Laundry Detergent, Rain Fresh Scent " ( which smells really BAD... I just wish the bottle was bigger it's so small...
however it Cleans Great !!!

Best Laundry Detergent On Earth
Oxydol has to be the best laundry detergent on earth.
Clean, non perfume, smell, removes dirt, soil and stains.
My family used it when I was a child.
Why get ripped off buying over priced perfumy soap at the supermarket when for $1.00 and one capful of Oxydol, your clothes will love you and you Oxydol.
Think about it, for $12.00 you can buy a case od Oxydol which is less than Tide in the supermarket, a no brainer here.

Surprisingly Effective
A week of missed work due to ice and snow = basically broke!
As my luck would have it, the week I had basically no pay check was the week I found myself needing more laundry detergent. So, where do you go when you have basically no money to spend? To the Dollar Tree, of course!

I will admit, I tend to be a bit of a snob when it comes to my laundry detergent. I figure clothes aren't cheap and I am going to do my best to take care of them. As I wandered the cleaning aisle looking at brands I had never heard of, the name Oxydol jumped out at me. Hey, I know this brand! (or at least I had heard of it, anyway. That's a plus!)
I tossed a couple of small bottles in my cart, each promising to clean 10 loads, grabbed a box of fabric softener and a couple of other items and headed for the check out. Sadly, there would be no Maple Leaf cookies on this trip, just not enough extra cash for goodies.
The first bottle actually yielded me about 8 loads, not 10 and after the first load I discovered I was going to have to use my Shout to get out any major stains, but that's ok, since I always have a bottle of Shout in the house anyway. The smell is clean and fresh, not flowery or overpowering. The clothes are fresh smelling, regardless of whether they were dried in the dryer or were air dried. All said, it does what it's supposed to do.
So, I have discovered that Oxydol is a decent detergent, although I probably won't be giving up my usual brand, since I do have a problem with very sensitive skin and I KNOW from years of use that my usual brand won't break me out. That being said, I had a positive experience with Oxydol and I won't hesitate to use it again if the need arises.

I GOT ME ONE THIS.I AM GLAD I DID.IT SMELL SO GREAT.I AM GOING TO BUY MORE OF THIS.I HAVE A DRYER I PUT IN MY CLOSE AND OTHER THINGS TO.YOU DID NOT NEED FABER SOFTER IN DRY AT ALL.YOU CAN SMELL IT ON YOUR CLOSES
