Have been looking for this!
I had used Oxydol most of my life until a few years ago. At that time it seemed everyone had stopped selling it. I noticed my clothes were just not as clean as they used to be so I did an I-net search for Oxydol. I was so excited to find that it could be found at Dollar Tree. I had never shopped at a Dollar Tree but was glad to find one not too far from me. I am so happy to know that they carry Oxydol but just to be safe, I ordered two cases of it.

Oxy-dull
Don't get me wrong. The powder may be better than the liquid; but I tried the liquid, since I could not find the powder (which I hope to try soon). I gave 3 stars for the price because I didn't lose too much money. I don't understand. The reviews for this were raving. I had to try at least 3 capfulls in my load with minimal results. It even dinged my clothing! I was disappointed; and I followed directions. I will not be buying this again.

Great!
i bought both this green bottle in Fresh Scent and my DT had a lavender bottle in Lavender. i put my whites in and wash on warm/cold. WOW did my dingy white towels come out bright. i thought i would have to toss them out and buy new towels. they look great. smells nice too. did not notice a scent left on fabric after drying, but thats ok.

Everything comes clean!
This stuff has built-in Oxygen boost and a great scent. Try soaking a stain in warm water with this in it. Have gotten out blood and chocolate this way.

Really thin, but pretty good at stain removal
I had bought some Oxydol at Big Lots, and was really impressed with the performance as a stain treater. My husband works in the garage a lot, as well as at his workplace, and grease, oil, grit, and grime are stains I deal with on a daily basis. I bought this Oxydol at Dollar Tree, and was a little dissapointed at how watery this is. I know it is not a concentrate, so I should expect what I pay for, I suppose. It does a good job at cleaning clothes, but I am not sure who they thought would get 9 loads worth of cleaning out of this. I get maybe 3 loads. I use a lot of detergent due to the hard water where I live, so maybe others would get theirs to go further than mine. Anyway, it is fine for medium stains and light washing.

This is an old brand that still works great.
This cleans very well and never irritates my skin. My skin is sensitive to many products but this one cleans clothes well, smells very nice, and is economical. What more could you want?

Great Clean When You're in a Rush...
I was short on money one day, and I picked up a couple bottles of Oxydol liquid. I expected it to be a cheapened knock-off, but its cleaning power was much better than I expected given the purchase price. I also remember a woman coming into my Dollar Tree store inquiring about when they will be re-stocking the Oxydol product, as she and her friends liked it so much.

Good bargain
I recommend pouring it into the machine to avoid staining the clothes. I'm not sure if my clothes came out with weird marks because of the machine or because I poured the detergent directly on the clothes, but I had to rewash them.

Gets out stains
My laundry always has pet stains, food stains, and stains from working in nursing home settings, and smells! I not only wash my clothes with Oxydol detergent, but also use it as the pre-treat. It works better than any other brand I buy in discount stores, and I use it almost exclusively.

my son repairs lawnmowers, he gets his clothes so greasy and dirty, I just rub a little detergent and out comes the stains. I love the product and it is a good value for the price.

Most for the least
Oxydol Laundry Detergent is the best detergent for the least amount of money - $1.00 per bottle. It has a great scent and does the job as well as if not better than the more expensive brands of laundry detergent. You get more than you pay for. I shop for a "Food Pantry" and always buy this in quantities of 20 or more. The people that have come thru our Food Pantry say they really appreciate receiving such a great product.

best detergent
MY MOTHER USED OXYDOL, AND SHE WAS 94 , I USE OXYDOL, AND LOVE IT, I LIKE THE SMALL BOTTLES ,THEY ARE EASY TO CARRY, AND DON'T TAKE UP A LOT OF SPACE LIKE THE BIG BOTTLES. AND REALLY LIKE THE PRICE.

great value
I'm pretty picky about laundry stuff. I've run into some hard times financially and decided to give this detergent a try. I'm really impressed! I don't even bother buying anything else anymore. My clothes seem just as clean as if I used a name brand detergent and they smell good!

I would to bring some of you up to speed. :) Oxydol is neither a "new" detergent nor is it an "off brand" detergent. It came out in the USA around 1915. Our mom used it all of the time when we were children. When I married in 1965, I used it as well for our laundry and continued to use it years later when our children were born. I especially love the way it cleaned the clothes, removed the stains, left the white clothes so bright and the fresh smell it gave the dog's bedding. :) New product? NO! However it is one of the great ones to withstand the times of new fangled fads! By the way - it also comes in powder form.
