Love it

Brooms broke in first week
I donated these brooms to a school cafeteria to replace the brooms they have had for years and they are all breaking and it is only the first week. I am so disappointed in the quality. I figured how bad could a broom be? BAD!!!

Two years and still going strong in the kitchen!
I use this broom every day and when I bought it a few years ago at DT, I had absolutely no expectation that it would do a good job or last this long! I'm 5'8 and I don't find it to be too short to work with. The bristles do collect a lot of hair--which is good--as we have long-haired cats, a dog, and my DD and I have long hair. I use a damp paper towel and tug all the hair and dust bunnies free on the bottom and it's good to go again. And when I need a new broom next time my first stop will be Dollar Tree!

Just enough
to sweep the litter by the litter box--not big jobs. I'd use it as a touch-up broom, as there aren't a profusion of bristles. I also use the broomstick to exercise (in class). If it had a motor, I'd fly away with it. But, alas...

Always Sweep Clean
These brooms are fantastic. Love the angle. Gets too dirty, throw it out, buy another for a buck. Can't beat them. I even use them for mud and snow?

These brooms are pretty good
Theyre sturdy and they sweep pretty well. Theyre not spaced far apart so they pick up pretty much everything. I also like that it is so incredibly light, I can sweep a lot longer with this broom as opposed to other brooms Ive used.

Solid purchase for $1
This broom is a good purchase for $1. In fact, you can't beat it. The only thing is, at times, the plastic end slips off the handle. This is totally find and it just pops back on.

Do Away with High Priced Brooms
I've bought three of these brooms over a period of 6-8 years. They hold up well, and when they get frayed I dispose of them. Since they are synthetic, I don't have the problem of my cats trying to chew them like they do the corn brooms. In fact, when I moved to Florida 2 weeks ago, I went right out to a Dollar Tree store and bought a new one for my new home.

I bought this over hearing an older woman say the broom was great! And I have to admit she was right I love it! I sweep more dirt out with it then i have with any other broom and the price is perfect.

Great Product!
I bought this broom when we first moved into the home we are in now, over a year ago. It was good enough, I bought one for each bathroom, and the kitchen. Over a year later they are doing great! One of the best buys I have ever made!

Good product for one dollar
When i first saw this broom in the store i thought it was for children. Granted, it is smaller than an average broom (of course for a dollar, what would you expect?) but it works really well! and i agree with other comments that the handle is short but fine for those five foot three or four. But you can twist it off and switch it for another handle if you need to.
I actually ended buying a second one to bring to work. we have really gross, old brooms whose handles were painted or something and it is all peeling and the bristles are old and gross. I 'donated' it to my work so we could have a nice new broom to use. It picks up dirt that other brooms might miss and works really well even for a resturant.
it does have trouble with rugs though, it takes a few fast strokes to get junk out of rugs in front of doors or whatever.

Pretty darn good
I bought this broom because my $8 Wal-Mart broom snapped in half after a week. So far, this has been so much better and picks up more.

as good a broom as any other.
its a broom. I know shocking right? Look its a brrom for one whole dollar. it feels like a broom and works like a broom. And i suppose if youre lonely you can flip it upside down and give it eyes and talk to it, but otherwise i use it to sweep. it does this admirably.

Great broom unless you are tall
My only negative comment on this broom is the length of the handle. I am 5'9" and my back ached after using this broom for any length of time. We bought it for some outside cleanup at our summer home so frequently I would use it for more than an hour at a time. Two problems I had were, 1. The plastic cover on the top kept coming off because I had to hold the broom that far up on the handle, 2. It was hard on the back being stooped over for any length of time. I'm afraid I'll have to stick with the name brand and pay more because I need a longer handle. It's possible the handle may screw out so it could be replaced with a longer one; I didn't check that.
