Awesome Deal!
Best way to stock a pantry ever! If you like soup as much as my family does this price beats any grocery store hands down. You can't buy the ingredients and make it for this price. Easy and fast purchase. I love the in-store pickup. It's convenient and easy. Staff is very friendly.

Favorite brand at a good price
Progresso is a favorite brand of mine, and both the vegetable and minestrone are popular with all ages in my family. Delighted to be able to buy this in bulk for our food pantry.

Great Bargain!

Great Buy
This is a soup we use a lot in the winter...price here is little more than half what we'd pay at other stores.

love that Progresso soup
Love that Progresso soup both the minestrone and vegetable are excellent soups. I wish they had the light variety available as I am trying to watch my weight but these are very tasty soups and usually on sale for this price in limited quantities at grocery stores so stock up while you can for the winter. A very healthy meal for a very reasonable price.

My Favorite Canned Soup
Not sure if the other reviewer (thepicturelady) who gave this soup a single star got a bad batch or what, but as an Italian and someone who has eaten plenty of home made minestrone soup as well as other brands, I actually love this soup! Not only is Progresso my favorite brand of soup, but the Minestrone Vegetable Classics is my favorite of all Progresso soup flavors. It's so good I can eat it room temp if I had to. Not that I recommend it that way, but since I am an advocate for people stocking up for emergencies I taste test items unheated when feasible. And although the manufacturer would not recommend it (for legal reasons), this soup can in fact be eaten straight out of the can in an emergency and it would not be unpleasant to the average person.
I use to eat Campbell's Soup only. But that's changed for several reasons.
1. Campbell's condensed soups are not good for emergencies because in an emergency you most likely will have a hard time getting water (which means you can't eat the soup hot or room temp).
2. Campbell's ready to eat soups taste okay, but they are never on sale for $1 (I only buy Progresso when it's on sale).
3. Campbell's adds MSG to their soups. So far, of all the labels I've read, I have not yet found any MSG in Progresso soups.

I still buy Campbell's soups when it's on sale, but only certain flavors and only small amounts. I never buy too much Campbell's soup at one time due to the need to add water (not good for emergency stocking piling) and because I try to limit the amount of MSG I ingest.
I suggest trying one can of this soup (or other Progresso Vegetable Classic flavors) and if you like them, stock up at this fantastic $1 price!!
NOTE: Contrary to what some people think, these Progresso soups you buy at Dollar Tree are NOT rejects or old stock or knock-offs, they are genuine Progresso soup and are just as good as those you buy at any other grocery store or supermarket. I spoke to a Progresso rep about this - Progresso makes Vegetable Classics available to Dollar Tree at a special price, and they tell me there's no difference in quality for the $1 can of soup and the more expensive ones you buy at other stores.

Progresso Canned Soups
The worst I have ever tasted. The cans are a wonderful size. The product is generous. But the flavor was not what I expected. Would greatly help to SEASON the original flavor away.
