Best value for river rock
The rock was clean and a nice variety of pretty rocks. The only con I see is some of the rocks were too big for the centerpieces the rocks range from 1/2 inch to 2 inches so good for potting and other uses :)

Quality going downhill
I have been buying quite a lot of rocks from the Dollar Tree for several years for something that I make, by the case or in the store. The quality of these rocks have been going noticeably downhill. I'm lucky to be able to use half of the rocks in each bag. What I'm buying is "polished river stones", what I'm getting is more like gravel and rocks full of holes or broken. They used to be nice, polished stones. With the amount that I buy I may have to start looking elsewhere for better quality, since really I am wasting money on all that I can't use from each bag.

Perfect for what I needed

larger than I expected
Its not easy to gauge the size of these rocks from the picture. I was looking for rocks that are roughly half this size. I gave the product a high rating because the quality is very good. The largest rock in one bag is approximately 2 inches in diameter and the smallest is approximately 3/4 of an inch. The majority are on the larger size. I hope this helps if you're wondering about the scale.

for my fountain
These work great in my indoor fountain. They cover the base to disguise the water line and make a nice sound as the water hits them.

A real multi tasking product
I use these inside pots to aid in water drainage as well as decorate. These rocks are nice enough to be used for jewelry as well.

Excellent Value
I own a flower shop and I use these in bottom of vases for decor and to help submerge flowers for weddings. One bag is good for 2 vases so it's a great value!

River Rocks Rock..
I'm a creatively driven person and as such, I'm always being asked to give ideas for decorating and centerpieces. People are always surprised when I tell them that I got my supplies from the Dollar Tree. It's always my first stop for my personal use and for recommendations to others. I've even been told by others I should put out a designer book of photos and explainations to help others achieve the same looks because they have no idea how or what to pull together to make a tablesetting look expensive on a tight budget. The use of rocks in decorating is a great and affordable way to add modern sophistication and contemporary elegance to any space. I've used them for events and just in my own home. Add them to a beautiful serving tray with a few flowerheads or candles (or combine the three on that same tray). Add them in the bottom of a vase with or without water (I prefer the use of water personally) and you have it. It's far more easy than you'd think. Sometimes with decoration you just have to think outside the box and play around to see what amazing things you come across. It's not about perfection or the lastest/lhottest look, it's about your own personal style.

Always Classic, Always in Style
I was able to imitate a very expensive and stylish candle holder using these stones, battery-operated candles and a plate from Dollar Tree. The best news was the cost: only $5.00!

Great for decorations
I used these in a very large planter, I filled the bottom with Styrofoam, then I have a large peace Lilly in the center growing in a recycled bottle, and the top is covered in these rocks for a very cheap and beautiful decoration

Many Great Uses
I've used these rocks for so many projects. They make a nice accent in dishgarden planters, to fill a vase to give that extra special touch, in the bottom of vases containing Beta fish and in fountains. I saw something at a friends house which I now use in my own and that is using them in the bathroom sink. Gives a great look.

Baskets
We like to use these in the shop as a way to hide the edges of some of the plastic containers our plants come in when we place them in nicer containers. Theses make the plants stand out even more then when we use the spanish and peat mosses.
