3 years and Going Strong
I purchased a pair of these three years ago, and they are still sharp. I use them at least once a day for cutting fabric, opening food packages, cutting thread, etc. While in three years I have had to replace other scissors these are still going strong. My only prblem is I need to purcase a couple more.

Great scissors for the price
I purchased several of these scissors. There is a pair in each of our daily used rooms, especially in the kitchen! It seems like food packages are impossible to open these days without having a pair of scissors nearby. My kitchen pair stays in a convenient spot in a nearby drawer. For $1, this has reduced the frustration of either not being able to get packages open or having the contents go everywhere when it does pop open. Now a nice clean cut with the scissors and its open! Buy these! EVERYONE should have several pair of these - they are sharp and of good quality - just keep them put up where they are not accessible to the little one's hands!

These Scissors are a Great Deal!
I've had these scissors (2 pair) for at least two years now...they're still going strong..though they're obviously not intended for sewing, they are the perfect household scissors and I use them all the time for opening packages, cutting wrapping paper, cutting out coupons, cutting thread...you name it...and for a dollar a pair, you can afford to buy a few pairs in case you misplace one...
