Terrible quality
These are nice, but for only a few days. When you get it, a few bulbs might not be working, and you have to twist it to get it to work. But then they don't work and you cannot fix them.
The lamps fall out easily too.
Dont bother getting these, get the LED ones.

Ugg!
I bought two sets of these. One had two missing bulbs. A broken piece of bulb fell out of the package, but the other 75% of the bulb glass was nowhere to be found. The other set had all of its bulbs, but didn't work. SO, I took 2 bulbs out of the non-working set, and this made the missing-bulb set kinda work. It was very dim. In short - DON'T BOTHER BUYING THESE.

Worst purse ever
none of the 96 lights worked! It's a Christmas item and can't be returned for store credit. Have to exchanged before 12/25/12. NOT EVEN FOR DEFECTIVE MERCHANDICE

Great
I ordered a case of these to use in wedding centerpieces. They worked great! Got lots of compliments. I am about to use them for a second wedding. So far I have had no problems. Am about to order another case.

Not worth it
Purchased 3. One didn't work at all. The other did for about 1 minute and started flashing uncontrollably, now that is all it does when you turn it on. The final you have to push down hard on the battery pack to keep it lit. Total waste of $3 and not worth the frustration to try to figure out.

Total waste
I bought 3 of these in the store, and they were completely worthless. One never did light up. The other two obviously have poor wiring since the string lights up intermittently, or only certain bulbs light up. Wiggling the wires gets different results. Playing with the bulbs sometimes makes a difference, until they break, which is amazingly easy to do. If only zero stars was an option!

Not worth a dime
Worst purchase I ever made. I was afraid that these were "too good to be true" at this price and I was right. I've thrown out the vast majority as they just didn't work. The battery box barely stays together and if the string lights at all (at least a third didn't), only a couple of the bulbs are bright enough to show up. It would be easier to just flush your money down the toilet.
If they had stocked these in the store, I would have bought a few and found out how bad they were. Since I could only buy them online, I wasted $48.00.
