Black Foam Boards
These are great! I ordered them for my daughter's wedding. We had a rustic theme and used them as chalkboards for signs. When I ordered them I thought I was getting 25 of them for $25 but they came in a case of 50 so I was pleasantly surprised!

False Advertising
I should have read ALL the reviews. As mentioned by others, the picture shows black paper on black foam core. This is NOT what you receive. You get blackISH paper, more grey than black, over WHITE core. I REPEAT -- WHITE CORE. Very disappointed.

Good product
This product was great for the project that my students were working on. I needed 50 boards which would have costed over $200 if I had bought them at staples or walmart. They are not the highest quality but they are still nice enough for what we were using them for.

Exactly what I needed
I had to order several hundred of these foam boards for an educational project I'm overseeing. The produce arrived in a timely way, was of good quality and a great value.

Its not black trust me
Please don't purchase this product if you are looking for black foamboard. It is a medium to dark grey. Anyone with a basic education and knowledge of color could easily tell you it is not black. The problem is that this website advertises it as black and the picture on the website is black but it is not. The picture on this website also shows a black core to the foamboard, but in reality it is white. So it is NOT good for quality photos or artwork to be mounted on. It might be good for a k-2 art show but not if you are really interested in showcasing your child's art work or photos.

Black Foam Boards
It was great to not visit a million stores gathering materials I needed for a big project. I ordered my boards from Dollar Tree and they were shipped to the store at no additional fee. I will definitely use this service and product again.

Great product!
This product does exactly what I need it to do. I love to buy my foam board from Dollar Tree. It is alot better than foam board at $4-$5 each from other stores!

Great Display Boards
We order these by the case 2 times a year! Our Pre-K uses these for graduation celebration boards. We decorate each board with photos of each child and samples of art work. The parents love them. These are lightweight, easy to manipulate, pictures and artwork display beautifully on them. For $1 each, the price is unbeatable. We love them!

This Black Foamboard does the trick!!!
Our PTSA purchases this foamboard to stabalize and enhance our membership drive presentation boards we display on easels throughout our halls during our 2 days of Fact N Fees or more commonly knowns as registration..Our PTSA has won state membership awards with this particular membership drive, and we couldn't have done it without our cost-effective DollarTree Black FoamBoard !!

Disappointing
If the picture of the board looks warped, it's because the boards ARE bent! For a long time, I couldn't find these in my local Dollar Tree stores; and was considering ordering them online. I'm so glad I didn't. I didn't need an entire case, for one thing; but when I saw them in person I realized right away that the quality was not comparable to similar higher-priced brand-name foam boards I had used in the past. They are lighter weight and less dense. They cut easier, but less cleanly (with the foam crumbling along the edges); and the Kraft paper laminate tends to crease during handling.
It's really unfortunate, because (on the plus side) they are made in the USA of recycled materials, according to the manufacturer's website. I just bought a few to try them out for smaller crafts. Hopefully they can be straightened with weights; but that's a lot of trouble to go to. Overall I can't recommend these for backdrops, mounting photos or other large projects.
