Great!
This is good flour that works out to 50 cents per pound. Can't beat that price!

Wonderful Flour for Baking
I bought this flour based on excellent reviews when I used The Bread Book by Linda Collister, a highly respected baker. (She loves this company and its owners.). Most public libraries offer this treasure.
I have used King Arthur flours, my brand of choice, for years. It is more expensive than others but it has never failed me when I have baked yeast breads, cookies, cakes, quick breads, muffins...you get my meaning. I bake from scratch quite a bit.
I prefer unbleached flour but Dollar Tree doesn't offer this. Still, I thought I would give it a try. I made Fresh Apple Bread and Banana Nut Bread from recipes taken from the Blue Ribbons Cookbook and both of them were excellent. Next I am going to try Peanut Butter cookies. I would not hesitate using this product again and would recommend this all-purpose flour to anyone who enjoys baking cookies, cakes or quick breads.
Now Dollar Tree, offer me unbleached flour and bread flour by this company and you will have me as a customer for life.

Nice size package
We purchased the 2 pound flour packages to give away in boxes our church prepared for the less fortunate people in our community, The bags fit perfectly in the boxes but as for the quality of the product, I cannot say as the people have not given us any feedback . Hopefully we will know soon.

Great Flour
I also purchase this by the case (30lbs For $15.00) and use it to make bread in Zojirushi bread machine and found it to work better the the regular bread flour, by the way if your local Dollar Tree doesn't have it in stock you can order it by the case here on line and have it shipped for FREE for in store pickup.

I purchase these 2 lb. bags by the case for a food pantry. They are perfect for our clients. We cannot move 5 lbs bags.

Good Value
I have baked cookies and fried chicken with this flour and both turned out very well. I would say it is best when used for frying and cooking, but I would use it for baking again too. In my experience, it's just as good as the grocery store brands.

Not good
I used this flour to make my homemade dumplings. Well they came out very tough. I have made these dumplings for many years and have never had this problem. I bought a bag of this flour to give it a try, but it just didn't taste very good at all. I bought some for my Mother the same time I bought mine and her cookies came out tough as well. This just isn't very good at all. It may be only a dollar, but it is not worth it.

Is that where the phrase "tough cookies" came from? LOL
