premium coffee with great value
My son likes hazelnut, my wife and I like breakfast blend. We feel Mountain high coffee is the best. Best taste. No after taste, and very smooth. Every thing you want in a coffee is their. We love it.

thee Best Coffee
Mountain High Breakfast Blend Coffee is the best coffee I have ever tasted and to think it came from the Dollar Tree. Vietnam produces some of the most aromatic , smooth (never bitter), rich, full bodied coffee beans in the world and yes this coffee is from Vietnam. Highly recommend you give it a try you'll love it, the only problem is that it sells out quickly so stock up or order online. Definitely a two thumbs UP !!!

Pretty Decent
I bought this coffee in a bind. Needed coffee and didn't have much cash. I wasn't looking forward to a $1 bag of coffee from the Dollar Tree but my coffee addiction overruled. I poured the bag into a coffee container I use. The smell was great although I didn't notice the chocolate everyone seems to mention. I did notice what looked like debris (small sticks or stems of plants or something). I was not impressed but after removing a few pieces (as much as I could anyway) made a pot anyway. Pleasantly surprised is all I can say. The smell while brewing perked up the coffee center in my brain, if it tasted as good as it smelled I thought, I may be on to something here. It did taste as good as it smelled. I too noticed no bitterness. Strong dark color and good rich flavor. I'm normally a coffee snob, and I'm adding this to the "good to go" list. I also like my coffee with sugar and creme and this coffee mixed well with both. Who would have thought? Certainly not me. It's good and I recommend everyone to try it. If it's true what someone mentioned about some batches being horrible, I have yet to buy one.

Mmmmm-Mhmmm...not so bad....
I have been a Yuban coffee drinker for 15 years.I love Yuban because it is rich, smooth and (to me) well balanced and still priced well below many other fancy name brands
I purchased this soley because of the ratings and to try it out.
I opened the packaged and hint of chocolate which usually means Robusta type off coffee bean. No problem, I could learn to love it like Columbian beans...
Made a pot. At first just smelled the aroma. Very nice. No chocolate smell. Tasted it black, it was okay. Very smooth, no bitterness. It was just...not "enough" coffee. It was weak, not in coloration just in "punch". I think this would be a terrific coffee for someone who is not picky about their coffee, that they just need some and this will fit fine.
Compared to the local grocery store "Store brand", this one wins by miles. Those brands taste like wood or some type of dirt. This does not. But it is not to my needsor personal preference..

this stuff is actually really good.
i buy this coffee when i cant afford to go to trader joes for my normal coffee or only have two bucks on hand. i buy two bags of this and it last for a decent amount of time. i am surprised that it taste as good as it does it is never bitter and the smell is heavenly. if they carried this coffee all the time at the dollar tree i go to it would be the only coffee i would buy on the reg but they do not so while it is in the store i buy it. a real money saver too.

Wow
I was not expecting this coffee to be that great, seeing as it is only $1. However, after taking my first sip, I realized I was wrong. This coffee is amazing! I've tried a lot of coffees from my local grocery store (Folgers, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, etc.). I have to say, this coffee tastes the best out of all of them. The flavor is strong and smooth, the aroma is great, and the price can not be beat. I love this coffee. I am so glad I found it. Now I can save myself a lot of money by getting this instead of the more expensive brands.

terrible batch
I bought this coffee because of the 5* reviews. I brewed a pot and it tasted as though I brewed a pot of dirt. Absolutely disgusting. Dollar Tree should investigate this product to see if all batches are actually coffee or are the suppliers adding other fillers to make a higher profit.

Excellent Coffee
This coffee is made by one of the largest coffee companies in Vietnam. Vietnam makes the worlds best coffee. Excellent coffee and a great bargain. I ordered two cases online.

Surprisingly good.
This makes a pretty decent cup of coffee, but if you want a real treat, make a 1/1 mix with Cafe Bustelo or Pilon. You still wont need to use as much coffee when you brew a pot but the flavor is unbelievable. By itself this stuff is just OK, but for rounding out a bag of Cuban coffee its perfect.

Certainly not 5 stars
I too am puzzled by all the 4 and 5 star reviews...I am not sure this is pure coffee. There is a chocolate or chicory aroma to it, and it does not look like ground coffee. Taste is oK, perhaps from the chicory. Certainly nothing listed on the label. Price is great, and I mix it with french roast decaf (chocfulonuts) or other clearance dark decaf from Groocery Ouutlet.

Best Coffee Value
Look, it's not $15/lb gourmet coffee, but it's better than any of the store brands and a few of the lower-rung name brands (in terms of pre-ground coffee). I suspect it's a robusta bean, pretty common from Vietnam, but I've had worse. These are convenient to use and nicely sealed, so they can be stored for a while. I use half a packet per pot, so fifty cents a day. For some reason my local Dollar Trees stopped selling these, so I ordered two cases and had them shipped to the store. This way there's always some coffee on hand.

A REAL VALUE AND GREAT TASTE
I am very fussy about my coffee and usually end up spending close to $12 for a can at the grocery store. At least I used to.
This coffee was recomended to me by a clerk so I gave it a shot - that was a year ago - now I buy it by the case which lasts me about 3 to 4 months. It has great flavor -strong but not bitter - and has a lot of body as well. Very good - when my store gets it in it is gone in a couple days.Try it and if you like it get a case - you won't be sorry.l

Love this coffee
I tried this when I was up in Steamboat Springs. Wow! Price was more than right and best ever. I buy a lot of gourmet coffee and have joined coffee clubs. This is the best. I cannot find this at all Dollar Tree stores so I just ordered a case and they will deliver to the Dollar Tree of your choice for free and you can pick it.

Cardboard Juice Anyone?
This product neither looks, smells, or tastes like coffee. I went and bought this because of all of the positive reviews. I opened the package and it smelled like cardboard, wet paper, wet wood, anything but coffee. There are even tiny little sticks inside that appear to be debris of some sort. I decided to give it a try anyway and brewed some. It was disgusting and had no coffee flavor whatsoever. The closest thing it tasted like was brewed carboard that was a bit charred. It was horrendous. It also left a black brick-like hardened sludge in the filter.
I am recommending that Dollar Tree investigate to make sure that all their suppliers are indeed supplying them with coffee. My only explanation as to why there are so many positive reviews is that there could be more than one supplier and growing areas and the lots could be of very different quality.

In todays economy,and the way prices are to find a really good product at a super value is almost unheard of.But the reality of this is we make a 40 cup pot of coffee everyday and it only cost me a dollar.Who could beat that .thank you dollar tree you have made me a very popular boss.At break time anyway...

Best coffee for the money on the market
Mountain High Breakfast Blend is not only far less expensive the the major brands it has a better flavor than even the expensive "botique" brands. An almost unbelievable bargain-I recommend it to any coffee lover out there!

Very Good Coffee
This coffee figures out at just under $2.30 a pound... It tastes good and you do not need to use much to brew a pot of coffee.... One thing you will notice is when you open the package there is an aroma the resembles Chocolate... but it is 100% coffee... the aroma is not there after brewing... and has zero affect to the quality of the taste. Try a pouch for a $1.00 and I think you will be hooked. We order it by the case and have it shipped direct to the store..... as we have found it is kind of hit and miss as far as finding it in stock regularly.
