Makes my life easier and cleaner, for pennies!
I cut up fruits and vegetables multiple times, DAILY. These are great. Phenomenal for the price really. We all love shopping at the dollar store, but we really expect the items we buy to prove to be worth much much more the 99 cents plus tax. These mats definitely do the trick. If I could change one thing I would make them a tad bit bigger, but if I have a bigger job that needs to be done I just use both at once. And yes, they do just fine in the dishwasher. After they get a little warn, I switch them over to craft mats for my 3 yr. old.

Great For Cutting and MORE!
These flexible cutting mats work well for their purpose, but are awesome for many little jobs. The latest one I found? I was washing crystal wine glasses and placed one in the bottom of the sink to put a protective barrier between the glasses and the hard sink. Today, did the same thing when I washed some ceiling fan glass globes. Worked well. I can see using this as on the package as a protective pad during crafting, etc. Washes up well on the top rack of my dishwasher. Nice!

pretty good
These are alright. After a week, one of them has been sliced through in one spot. I think these would work well if you don't have very sharp knives and/or aren't using them to cut something very hard like butternut squash which requires you to put a lot of pressure on the knife while cutting and risk cutting the board. I was really hoping to like these much more as I hate having to pull out a big heavy cutting board for every little cutting task (I know, I'm lazy). I will still use these but I'm not sure if I will repurchase in the future.

Many uses and Long lasting
These chopping mats are simply two sheets of translucent plastic. However, if you have counter tops that are prone to getting permanently sliced, this is about the best protection you can get. But beyond that, they are rather durable and I usually get about 6 months of use from each sheet. Used for prepping lunches and cutting dog food rolls.
But wait! You can use these mats anywhere you need to place a temporary barrier that does not involve heat or powered equipment. I have used them to cover bakers racks to keep small objects stable. There are lots of uses you can cut them to suit. Just handy to have around.
